It's playoff time, and Impact Christian Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 37-36 victory over the Eagle's View Warriors. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Warriors last Friday, they had to take a 53-44 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Impact Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zee Booth, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Booth is becoming a predictor of Impact Christian Academy's success: when she posts at least ten boards the team is 12-2 (and 5-6 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Lavin Savage, who posted nine points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Impact Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in 43 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Eagle's View lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jayda Parker, who scored eight points in addition to 12 boards and seven blocks. That's the most blocks she has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ca'Zaria Britt, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 rebounds.

Impact Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points over those games. As for Eagle's View, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.

Impact Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-22 defeat against North Florida Educational Institute on the 8th. As for Eagle's View, they will square off against North Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th.
