Soccer Game Preview: Denver South vs. Rangeview

For the first time this season, Denver South will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the Rangeview Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Rangeview will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Denver South extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Ravens' defense stepped up to hand George Washington a 1-0 shutout. Denver South's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Rowan Mitchell, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Rangeview narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lincoln 1-0.

The victory got Rangeview back to even at 4-4-1. As for Denver South, their win bumped their record up to 7-1-1.

Denver South skirted past Rangeview 2-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
