Basketball Game Preview: Beaufort Eagles vs. Colleton County Cougars

The Beaufort Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Colleton County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Colleton County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Beaufort, who comes in off a win.

Beaufort will bounce into Friday's match after beating Bluffton, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Beaufort enjoyed a cozy 48-30 win over Bluffton on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Colleton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 50-19 loss at the hands of May River.

Beaufort is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Colleton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Everything came up roses for Beaufort against Colleton County in their previous meeting on January 10th, as the squad secured a 59-32 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Beaufort since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
