Volleyball Recap: Cedar Creek Comes Up Short

Cedar Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oakcrest Falcons. The Pirates were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Cedar Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Oakcrest, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Looking ahead, Cedar Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Highland Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates are facing the Tartans at the right time seeing as the Tartans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Oakcrest, they are taking a road trip to square off against Camden County Vo-Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
