Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Mary walked away with it. Everything went their way against the McClatchy Lions on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on four straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-17.

St. Mary's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rachel Nemee, who had 15 digs and two aces. Nemee is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Genevieve Rishwain, who had eight digs and two assists.

They weren't the only good servers: St. Mary's was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. They are 12-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for McClatchy, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-9.

St. Mary's didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Pitman on the 30th. McClatchy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
