Basketball Recap: Hancock Takes a Loss

Hancock was the 70-52 winner over Brandon/Evansville when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Hancock Owls had to suffer through a 71-35 loss at the hands of the Brandon/Evansville Chargers.

Hancock dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Brandon/Evansville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Hancock will take on Hillcrest Lutheran Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brandon/Evansville, they will face off against Parkers Prairie at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
