Basketball Recap: Whitesboro Sets Scoring Season-High Against Watts

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitesboro). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Watts Engineers 88-24. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Whitesboro is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.1 points per game. As for Watts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Whitesboro will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Smithville at 6:30 p.m. Smithville will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Whitesboro surely won't give up without a fight. As for Watts, they will head out to challenge Welch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
