Softball Recap: Aberdeen Central Takes a Loss

Aberdeen Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors, falling 16-0. The Golden Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Governors from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Aberdeen Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pierre T.F. Riggs, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Aberdeen Central will challenge rival Rapid City Central at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pierre T.F. Riggs is set to face off against their familiar foe Spearfish at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
