Baseball Recap: Hialeah-Miami Lakes Takes a Loss

The Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans lost 10-4 to the Downtown Doral Dolphins on Thursday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diego Lopez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Downtown Doral, the victory also got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hialeah-Miami Lakes will challenge Northwestern at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Northwestern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Downtown Doral, they will take on Somerset Academy South Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
