Basketball Recap: Columbia Blue Devils vs. Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders
Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 71-57 fall against the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders.
Monroe-Woodbury was led to victory by Lee Arroyo and Fabrice Ndja. Arroyo dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Ndja went 10 of 21 en route to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Arroyo a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Jamir Johnson, who posted 12 points.
Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Monroe-Woodbury, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.
