Dinuba was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mission Oak only served seven.
If Bakersfield wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Independence, they should've done a better job of containing Anabel Naranjo. Independence blew past Bakersfield 3-0 on Wednesday thanks in part to Naranjo, who had 19 digs. Those four aces gave Martinez a new career-high.
Independence was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-23.
