Dinuba was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mission Oak only served seven.
If Bakersfield wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Independence, they should've done a better job of containing Anabel Naranjo. Independence blew past Bakersfield 3-0 on Wednesday thanks in part to Naranjo, who had 19 digs. Those four aces gave Martinez a new career-high.
Independence was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-23.
Dinuba is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 18-11 record this season. As for Independence, their win bumped their record up to 24-12.
