Volleyball Recap: Highmore/Harrold Comes Up Short

Highmore/Harrold suffered their biggest loss since September 18th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds, falling 3-0. The Pirates have struggled against the Warbirds recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-9.

Highmore/Harrold's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Wolsey-Wessington, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Highmore/Harrold and Lower Brule will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wolsey-Wessington, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wessington Springs on the 16th.
