Football Recap: Graham/Dustin Falls to South Coffeyville in First Game of Season

Graham/Dustin kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. The contest between the RiverHawk and the South Coffeyville Lions didn't end well, with the RiverHawk falling 20-6. The RiverHawk lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 60-12 score last time.

Isaiah Stout threw for 53 yards on 11 of 23 attempts. Kurtis McCaslin was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards.

Graham/Dustin will welcome Life Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Coffeyville, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Claremore Christian at 7:00 p.m. on September 12.
