Basketball Recap: Fort Defiance Comes Up Short

Fort Defiance was the 75-38 winner over Waynesboro when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fort Defiance Indians took a 56-39 bruising from the Waynesboro Little Giants on Friday. The Indians' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Fort Defiance's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Waynesboro, the win snapped their losing streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 2-14 record.

Fort Defiance will take on Staunton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Waynesboro, they will welcome Stuarts Draft at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
