Penn-Trafford had won three straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped their record up to 12-5 to make it four. They came out on top against the Kiski Area Cavaliers by a score of 7-4. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Zach Feldman tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brayden Stone, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Jason Malamisuro was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
As for Kiski Area, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games.
On Kiski Area's side, they got a good showing from Austin Bachar, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The dominant performance also gave Bachar a new career-low in walks (zero).
At the plate, John Deluca was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Zach Hald, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Looking ahead, Penn-Trafford will venture away from home to square off against Franklin Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kiski Area, they will challenge Pine-Richland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
