Basketball Game Preview: Gulf Breeze Dolphins vs. Oliver Springs Bobcats

The Gulf Breeze Dolphins and the Oliver Springs Bobcats will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Gulf Breeze has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 21.

Gulf Breeze saw some tournament action on Friday. They were beaten by Washburn 60-26. While losing is never fun, the Dolphins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 457th in Florida, while the Pirates are ranked 135th in Tennessee).

Meanwhile, Oliver Springs was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 51-46 to Laurel Hill.

Gulf Breeze's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Oliver Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
