Baseball Recap: Wilmington Comes Up Short

The Wilmington Wildcats lost 12-3 to the Minooka Indians on Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilmington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dierks Geiss, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Wilmington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Minooka, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilmington will head out to challenge Pontiac at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minooka, they will venture away from home to take on Coal City at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
