Basketball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Eisenhower was the 60-47 winner over Deer Creek when they last played one another back in March of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Eisenhower Eagles took a blow against the Deer Creek Antlers on Friday, falling 79-34. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Antlers are ranked tenth).

Eisenhower has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. Deer Creek's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4.

Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Deer Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-45 win against Choctaw on the 1st.
