Baseball Recap: Vision Comes Up Short

Vision was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Marsing Huskies, falling 24-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Marsing this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 two weeks ago.

Payton Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Dakota Williams was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Vision's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Marsing, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Coming up, Vision will challenge Melba at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Marsing, they will be playing at home against Orofino at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Maniacs have averaged an impressive 13 runs per game this season.
