Baseball Recap: Madera Comes Up Short

Justin Garza hit Madera with a five-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Coyotes lost 10-2 to the Guardians. The Coyotes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Guardians earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Madera's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Justin Garza, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-12.
