Volleyball Recap: Lake Worth Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Lake Worth Christian Defenders didn't have quite enough to beat the FAU High Owls on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Defenders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Owls 25-12 in the first set.

Lake Worth Christian actually scored more points across those five sets (104-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 25-22, 26-24, 15-25, 15-8.

Despite the loss, Lake Worth Christian still got an impressive performance from Ella Vandenberg, who had 26 digs and five aces.

Lake Worth Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Lake Worth Christian will be playing at home against Palm Beach Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for FAU High, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against North Broward Prep on the 20th.
