Landen Dellinger Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Shepherd's Landen Dellinger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dellinger rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per carry, and also threw for ten yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (102.3) per game. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
On the season, Dellinger has thrown 2 touchdowns while averaging 35.5 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he had five rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to nine.

Hamshire-Fannett picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Braxton Starnes. Nobody could stop Starnes as he picked up 112 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Hamshire-Fannett's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Starnes and Hamshire-Fannett will challenge Jasper at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Preston Stephens Turns in Another Game with at Least 119 Rushing Yards
Preston Stephens continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 14th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 119 rushing yards. He rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also caught a touchdown.
Stephens must have Tarkington's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Stephens saw the Longhorns), he rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.

While Payton Brooks delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Jasper. Brooks was unstoppable, rushing for 130 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while also picking up 61 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Jasper is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. Brooks and Jasper will welcome Hamshire-Fannett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Isaiah Coleman Makes It Two for Jasper
