Soccer Recap: Stony Point Finishes Even with McNeil

For the first time this season, Stony Point was forced to settle for a draw. They and the McNeil Mavericks finished up their match with a 4-4 draw on Wednesday. Considering the Tigers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

With that draw, Stony Point's record moves to 3-4-1. Meanwhile, McNeil's record is now 6-1-1.

Stony Point will face off against Cedar Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McNeil, they will welcome Vandegrift at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Vandegrift will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something McNeil surely won't give up without a fight.
