Football Game Preview: Central Cabarrus Vikings vs. Harding University Rams + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Damonte James and Jamarcus Hairston are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Central Cabarrus Vikings will square off against the Harding University Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Cabarrus will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Central Cabarrus fought the good fight in their overtime contest against West Cabarrus on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 41-38. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (34), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Harding University came up short against Hickory Ridge on Friday and fell 24-14. While the Rams had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Ragin' Bulls 6-0.

Central Cabarrus has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Harding University, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
