Basketball Recap: Sacopee Valley Takes a Loss

Sacopee Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 55-23 loss at the hands of the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers. The Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Sacopee Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for North Yarmouth Academy, they moved to 5-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sacopee Valley will square off against Poland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Yarmouth Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Boothbay at 2:00 p.m.
