Carson Lund Delivers Electric Performance Vs Mariposa County

Carson Lund was instrumental in extending Stone Ridge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lund turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 104 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 58 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 68 yards.

Stone Ridge Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Lund and Stone Ridge Christian will challenge Gustine at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Antonio Gutierrez was a major factor in Delhi's win over Waterford on Friday. Gutierrez was dynamite, rushing for 174 yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.

On the season, Gutierrez has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 119.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 20.25 rushing yards per game.

On Friday, Delhi got the W thanks in part to Sergio Bueno playing the best football he has all season. Bueno rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. He is becoming a predictor of Delhi's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Stone Ridge Christian picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Daijon O?Neil. O?Neil was unstoppable, rushing for 35 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 81 receiving yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making a tackle and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Unfortunately for Mariposa County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from O?Neil. O?Neil rushed for 159 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries the last time he and the Grizzlies duked it out back in September of 2023.

Jonathan Benavidez Puts an End to Le Grand's Losing Streak on Friday

Le Grand's six-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jonathan Benavidez. Benavidez rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Le Grand's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Benavidez and Le Grand will challenge Yosemite at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
