Softball Recap: Parowan Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Parowan and Beaver had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Parowan came up short against Beaver on Friday, falling 15-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 last Wednesday.

Parowan's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Beaver, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Parowan will challenge Kanab at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parowan is facing Kanab at the right time seeing as Kanab is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Beaver, they will square off against Carbon at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Carbon will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Beaver surely won't give up without a fight.
