Baseball Recap: Paradise Honors Triumphs

Paradise Honors saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Maine West Warriors 4-2.

Paradise Honors got a great performance from Kade Ashton as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits.

At the plate, Paradise Honors' win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jaydan Herrera, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. Cook Cadyn also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Paradise Honors' victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Maine West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Paradise Honors will square off against Crescent Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maine West, they will challenge Southridge at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
