Basketball Recap: Affton Triumphs

Affton won the last time they faced Bishop DuBourg and things went their way on Thursday too. The Affton Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-55 win over the Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers.

Affton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-13. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Bishop DuBourg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Affton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-32 win against McCluer South-Berkeley on the 31st. As for Bishop DuBourg, they will head out to square off against Gateway Tech at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
