It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Marietta had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Athens Bulldogs as they made off with a 74-50 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Marietta is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.3 points. As for Athens, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11.

Looking ahead, Marietta will be taking part in a tournament against Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Marietta likes a good challenge. Athens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
