Baseball Recap: Westminster School at Oak Mountain Comes Up Short

Westminster School at Oak Mountain lost against Oak Grove back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights lost 10-2 to the Tigers. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westminster School at Oak Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Oak Grove, they pushed their record up to 24-2 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westminster School at Oak Mountain will take on Childersburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.96 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Oak Grove, they will challenge Northside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
