Football Recap: Kadoka Kougars vs. Lyman Raiders
Kadoka had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Lyman Raiders 62-14 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-14.
Kadoka's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kole Hermann led the charge by rushing for 157 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Gus Stout, who gained 142 total yards and two touchdowns.
Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Kadoka will be playing at home against Wall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lyman, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jones County at 7:00 p.m. on September 13th.
