Basketball Recap: Leipsic Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Leipsic played a tough matchup on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-21 loss at the hands of the Hardin Northern Polar Bears. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Leading Hardin Northern to victory were Jake Cook and Luke Price. Cook shot 50% from the field to rack up 14 points, while Price went 7-for-14 en route to 17 points. Those 17 points gave Price a new career-high. Paul MInter was another key player, putting up six points.

Leipsic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hardin Northern, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Leipsic will face off against Liberty-Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hardin Northern, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Baltimore at 7:15 p.m. on the 19th.
