Football Game Preview: Mountain Crest Mustangs vs. Green Canyon Wolves

The Mountain Crest Mustangs will head out to face off against the Green Canyon Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain Crest has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three matchups.

On Thursday, everything came up roses for Mountain Crest against Tooele as the team secured a 49-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six contests by 35 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Green Canyon took a blow against Ridgeline on Wednesday, falling 49-14. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Riverhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Although Green Canyon took the loss, they still got scores from Cody Edelmayer and Bryson Pabst.

Mountain Crest's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Green Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Mountain Crest strolled past Green Canyon in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a score of 28-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
