Basketball Game Preview: Graceville Tigers vs. Poplar Springs Atomics

Graceville and Poplar Springs are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Graceville Tigers will face off against the Poplar Springs Atomics at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Graceville will be strutting in after a victory while Poplar Springs will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, Graceville strolled past Sneads with points to spare, taking the game 66-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Poplar Springs came up short against Paxton on Friday and fell 48-35. The defeat continues a trend for the Atomics in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Graceville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Poplar Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.
