Flag Football Recap: Oconee County Warriors vs. Apalachee Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Oconee, Oconee County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 13-12 photo finish over the Apalachee Wildcats. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Wildcats are ranked 175th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
When it comes to explaining why Apalachee lost, don't look at Kassidi Jordan. Despite the final result, she rushed for 68 yards and one TD. Jordan showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 58 yards.
