Soccer Recap: Pioneer Valley's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Wednesday

Pioneer Valley kept a clean sheet against Paso Robles on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Paso Robles Bearcats by a score of 2-0. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Bearcats are ranked 499th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Emmanuel Medina and Christopher Pompa-Pena scored both of Pioneer Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.
