Eagle Point won the last time they faced Phoenix and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Pirates 3-2.

Eagle Point now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Phoenix, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Eagle Point will challenge Crater at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Phoenix, they will square off against Yreka at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
