Volleyball Recap: Lexi Mong Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Overlake + How To Watch

While King's victory against Overlake wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Owls 3-2. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

King's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lexi Mong, who had 17 digs. Those 17 digs gave Mong a new career-high.

King's now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Overlake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King's will venture away from home to face off against Snohomish at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Overlake, they will take on Bush at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
