Basketball Recap: Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg Comes Up Short

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg lost against Altamont back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg received a blow as they fell 67-53 to the Altamont Indians.

Altamont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kade Milleville, who went 8-for-13 to rack up 20 points and six boards. Milleville's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Mcmanaway, who went 7-for-17 en route to 19 points and six rebounds.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Altamont, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-12.

Coming up, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg will welcome Brownstown/St. Elmo at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Altamont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-49 win against Marshall on the 21st.
