Wauwatosa West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Brookfield East Spartans, falling 19-7. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Trojans' highest-scoring match to date.

Devin Townsend was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Jack Weber was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Wauwatosa West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brookfield East, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.
