It was a good run, but Plano West unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Southlake Carroll Dragons by a score of 2-1. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Plano West's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Southlake Carroll, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Plano West will square off against McKinney Boyd at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southlake Carroll, they will head out to take on Byron Nelson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Dragons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
