Landmark Christian skates past Mt. Zion with ease

Recap: Landmark Christian War Eagles vs. Mt. Zion Eagles
The Landmark Christian War Eagles waltzed into Saturday's match with four straight wins but they left with five. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 76-39 victory over Mt. Zion. The result was nothing new for Landmark Christian, who have now won three matches by 37 points or more so far this season.
Landmark Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Riley Saunders led the charge by scoring 24 points along with 6 steals. The matchup was Saunders' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Blake Pollock, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals.
Landmark Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Mt. Zion, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Landmark Christian will challenge Elite Scholars Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Elite Scholars Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday. Mt. Zion is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Bowdon at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th.
