Soccer Recap: Lakeland Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Lakeland was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the South Lake Eagles could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Leandro Boza Gonzales and Ryon Morgia scored both of Lakeland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

With that draw, Lakeland's record moves to 3-0-1. As for South Lake, they moved theirs to 1-0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeland will welcome Davenport at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Lake, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Tavares at 7:00 p.m.
