Baseball Recap: Daniel Victorious

Daniel lost to Laurens back in April of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raiders, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Daniel got a great performance from Luke Turner as he didn't allow a single earned run over 6.1 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jasean Perry, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Quint Cumbie was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Daniel's record is now 20-7. As for Laurens, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-10.

As of now, neither Daniel nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
