After a string of four wins, Memorial's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Bishop Lynch Friars. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Samantha Everidge paced Memorial's offense, picking up 11 kills. Everidge got some help from Addison Childers and her 18 assists. Everidge was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Bishop Lynch, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Lone Star on the 23rd. As for Bishop Lynch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Centennial on the 23rd.
