Soccer Game Preview: Steele vs. San Marcos

The Steele Knights will venture away from home to take on the San Marcos Rattlers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Steele is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on John Paul II with a sharp 6-0 win on Monday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Steele considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Meanwhile, San Marcos' game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They beat Judson by a goal, winning 2-1.

San Marcos' victory bumped their record up to 5-2-2. As for Steele, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-2.

Steele was able to grind out a solid victory over San Marcos in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, winning 3-1. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rattlers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
