Basketball Recap: Adams Central Skates Past Heritage with Ease

Adams Central won the last time they faced Heritage and things went their way on Thursday too. The Adams Central Flying Jets blew past the Heritage Patriots, posting a 51-17 victory. The contest marked the Flying Jets' most dominant win of the season.

Leading Adams Central to victory were Tenley Hendricks and Ava Stafford. Hendricks went 6 for 10 en route to 14 points, while Stafford dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Hendricks a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Fisher, who posted eight points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Adams Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Heritage, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Adams Central has already played their next match, a 66-39 loss against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran on the 27th. As for Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 86-22 defeat against Bluffton on the 25th.
