Softball Recap: Cascade Cadets vs. Zionsville Eagles
Cascade was the 12-5 winner over Zionsville when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cadets lost 12-4 to the Eagles on Friday. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Macey Pugh made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Ava Allen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Zionsville, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.
Coming up, Cascade will host Northview at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Zionsville, they will venture away from home to take on Hamilton Southeastern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
