Soccer Game Preview: Norman vs. Bixby

The Norman Tigers will challenge the Bixby Spartans on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Norman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against Northwest Classen by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Norman.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bixby). They skirted past Enid 6-5. The high-scoring effort was just what Bixby needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Norman's record now sits at 17-3. As for Bixby, their record is now 10-6-1.

Norman beat Bixby by a goal in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
